What makes a man stand out in a crowd?
What is it that makes one man stand out in a crowd for one woman? You meet so many couples in a day and I often wonder what it was that drew them together. Sometimes it’s incredibly obvious but others… Okay, so in a very short poll I discovered that some women are attracted to looks, confidence, ability to laugh at oneself, smile, hands, forearms, butts, shoulders, humanity and a raft of other traits that can make a man appealing to another person.
I had to stop and think hard about what makes someone appeal to me and I think, for me, that instant attention grabbing moment usually comes from bearing, y’know, how they carry themselves. There’s a confidence in the way they walk, something about the way they hold themselves, that just makes me sit up and take notice. Okay, so that’s my initial observation. Then comes the looks and probably all of the rest of the above in one order or another. I’ve tried to understand why it is that I’m caught, initially, by how a man carries himself. Some years ago I was in the post office and a guy walked in. No, walked is far too soft a word. He swept into the post office. He was of average height and build, yet there was an indefinable something in his carriage that made heads (okay, female heads) turn to look at him, and while I can’t remember his face I remember what he was wearing, and how well he wore it, vividly.
So what makes a man stand out in a crowd for you?
