I always like to hear about a story that makes you smile and leaves you feeling great when it's over. Mind you, I also love the ones that put you through the emotional wringer so that when you reach the end you're just so happy and relieved all has turned out well. I've never been a fan of unhappy endings. Nathalie, hi! I haven't read Mary Balogh but I'm off to check out if this book is available at my local library. I've heard from others that Mary Balogh is a wonderful story teller and I'm always a sucker for the underdog. Lily, I must get Jen’s latest book. It is a very unconventionnal story: a girl is foced to sell herself when accused of murder... it is the story of a young woman forced to survive and does so gracefully and finds love in a very unusual place. It is a beautiful Cinderella story with a very enticing hero and the heroine is very likeable... and the book was very easy to read and left me smiling while going through it. It was very enjoyable!
