I’m in Germany!
Well, my book is anyway 
Here’s the cover for SINNLICHE KÜSSE UNTERM MISTELZWEIG (originally released by Silhouette Desire, THE BOSS’S CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION) on the Cora website.
Now, from what I can glean from my Collins German>English Dictionary, Sinnliche means sensuous, Kusse means kiss, Unterm I’m a bit lost on but unter means under from what I can tell, and Mistelzweig sounds like it could be a branch of mistletoe. So in a nutshell, Sensuous Kisses under the Mistletoe.
I really like that. And I am so excited to see my book out in another country!
You know, since I started on this journey of being published my dreams have changed slightly. Initially, my biggest dream was to be published–just the sheer excitement of selling buoyed me along for ages. Then it was the excitement of seeing my first book in print–actually holding it, the book I wrote, the one with my name on the cover! Since then there have been other dreams come true–seeing my book on the shelves in New Zealand, then learning about having my books released in the UK and then translated into Spanish. Now German! What excitement comes next?
Honestly, this roller coaster is full of dips and twirls and lows and highs and you know what? The highs make everything worth while.

I was wondering why each country has a different cover… it is a bit paradoxal.

Thanks Nathalie, it’s exciting stuff I tell you! LOL! And yeah, I agree with you on the cover, it really depicts the office romance side of that story.
I think the different countries choose different covers to specifically target what their market looks for and likes. That old different strokes for different folks thing.

I love that cover - and that’s why I remember it. It was also the cover of Emma Darcy’s The Playboy Boss’ Chosen Bride (which I really enjoyed, hence remembering the cover. And the fact that they seemed to have superimposed the Opera House on New York City. Interesting.) Does that happen often (using the same pic for two titles)?
Obviously they only chose this cover for excellent books!

Hi Kirsty, thanks for dropping by my blog. So I share this cover with Emma Darcy, that’s so neat! Interesting how NYC can masquerade as Sydney for Emma’s book and Auckland (in New Zealand) for mine.
A far as I know its not uncommon for the international offices to use covers from other titles in the Harlequin/Silhouette files. Makes it fun for us as authors finding the matching book to our covers.
These international translations are a whole lot of fun. A whole flipside to being published that I’d never really considered prior to selling.
